Family Nurse Practitioner

Hello and welcome! My name is Joel Stortro, and I am thrilled to share a bit about my journey of learning, growth, and a deep commitment to caring for others over the years. I hold degrees in multiple fields, including Biology, Pastoral Studies, and Nursing, and I am currently in the exciting process of completing my latest degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner. This extensive educational background has equipped me with a diverse skill set that I apply to my practice every day.

Since 2005, I have gained valuable experience working in numerous hospitals, where I have focused particularly on emergency care and infection control, especially during the challenging times of the COVID-19 pandemic. This experience has not only sharpened my medical expertise but also deepened my understanding of patient care in high-pressure situations.

In addition, my wife and I have devoted over a decade to running a Nutritional Supplement business that underscores our passion for health and wellness. Together, we have had the joy of raising three wonderful children in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. We cherish our time together as a family, often found cheering our kids on in sports like football and basketball, and we never miss an opportunity to take refreshing trips to the beach.
